Raw Love is a restaurant and cafe 100% plant base, free of refined sugar, dairy, preservatives, and animal products. You can have breakfast and lunch among the tamarind trees and flowers. It has good internet and excellent service. There is a restaurant in town called Raw Love Pueblo in the main street, very close to DHL. If you are looking for a vegan restaurant by the beach there is also Raw Love Beach Restaurant.
With delicious Asian fusion food and just 5mins walk from the house, Asian Bodega is a great place to relax and enjoy dinner with friends and family. It has excellent service, some of our favorites dishes are; pork belly, pho, dumplings and fried chicken.
Very cool and friendly restaurant with a terrace and an air/conditioned room. Argentinian chef and Spanish owner, the steak was fantastic and the tuna tartare is my favorite. They have a chess board and free salsa and bachata lessons on Thursdays.
Locals will tell you that Tulum’s best breakfast tacos can be found about a 10-minute drive from the beach at Taquería Honorio, a divey, sort of makeshift place with serious cochinita pibil — a fragrant regional Yucatán pork dish that’s slow cooked with orange, achiote chill, and other spices like cumin, cinnamon, and allspice. In plain view, cooks throw wads of masa onto flat tops, yielding thick, rustic tacos which they slap with meat (pork or beef). Keep in mind, though, that this is a breakfast spot, and the day is done at around 1:30 p.m.
When you are in Mexico, spit-roasted meat is a must. And the tacos al pastor from streetside-seller Antojitos La Chiapaneca might just be the best in town. Thanks to its short menu of tacos at seven to 10 pesos a pop (about 50 cents), in addition to a few other inexpensive Yucatán snacks.
